Gav and Emma's Enchanting Elopement at Kingshouse Hotel Glencoe: A Highland Love Story
When I was asked to photograph Gav & Emma's wedding for them at the Kingshouse Hotel in the Scottish Highlands, to say I was excited would be an understatement. With stunning views of Buachaille Etive Mòr creating the perfect backdrop and wild stags strolling the grounds, I knew it was going to be a special day to capture. It was a small and intimate wedding with close family and friends in attendance. We all arrived on the Friday, had a couple of drinks and sampled some of the whiskies from The Kingshouse extensive whisky menu.
The following day, we were up bright and early and ready for the day's events. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony, and we were very lucky with the weather, which as you know is pretty unpredictable in Scotland! The day was one that I will remember for a very long time, and it was amazing to be able to create memories for Gav & Emma to look back on. As far as wedding venues go, the Kingshouse has set the bar pretty high!
